2011 Outdoor Track and Field: Competed in the 800 and 1,500 meter runs, the 1,600 meter relay and the 1,600 meter sprint medly... a member of the 1,600 sprint medly team recording a season-best team time of 3:28.60 at the Drake Relays (April 30)... Also a member of the 1,600 meter relay recorded a team time of 3:19.22 at the Tom Cat Open (April 17)... Recorded a season-best time of 3:56.21 in the 1,500 meter run at the Capitol City Championship (April 21)... Recorded a season best time of 1:52.35 in the 800 at the MIAC Championship (March 4-5) receiving All MIAC Honors for his 2nd place finish... Qualified for NCAA Nationals Division III in the 800 matching his season-best time of 1:52.35 and finishing 18th.

2011 Indoor Track and Field: Competed in the 600, 800, 1,000, 1 mile runs and the 1,600 meter relay... Recorded a season-best time of 1:15.04 in the 600 at the MIAC Championship (March 4-5)... Recorded a season-best time of 1:57.15 in the 800 at the MIAC Championship (March 4-5) receiving MIAC Honorable Mention for his 5th place finish... Recorded a season-best time of 2:32.71 in the 1,000 meter run at the WArren Bowlus Open (Jan. 29)... Recorded a season-best time of 4:20 at the UM Snowshoe Open (FEb. 18)... A memeber of the 1,600 meter relay recorded a team time of 3:31.02 at MIAC Championship (March 4-5)

High School/Personal: Participated in cross country for four years in the 5k, Captain and MVP... All Conference 2008... participated in nordic skiing for four years,5K pursuit... captain and All Conference honors in 2008-09, state participant... participated in track for four years in the 400 and 800... captain and All Conference in 4x800 in 2009... All Conference in 800 in 2008... All State in the 4x800... AP scholar... Honor roll for 8 consecutive semesters... graduated HS with honors... brother Chris attended MTU and competed in track and cross country for four years.
