KATIE CHRISTENSEN (Volleyball) -- All-MIAC … Outside hitter … Led team with 303 kills (2.73 kills per-set), while standing 4th in service aces (28), 4th in digs (188), and 5th in blocks (28, 4 solo) … Had 15 matches with 10-plus kills, including season-high 21 in 3-2 win at Carleton on Oct. 13 … Hit .433 with 15 kills in 3-set win against Wisconsin-Stout on Oct. 5 … Had 5 10-plus dig matches in season, including 17 in 5-set match with St. Benedict on Sept. 10 … Had 3 kill-dig double-doubles on season.

JESSA HINZ (2010 Softball) -- All-MIAC first team, Academic All-MIAC … Outfielder/shortstop … In 2010, had best year of career, hitting .338 with 45 hits, 29 runs scored, 11 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, 15 RBI, a .496 slugging percentage and .385 on-base percentage … 11 doubles were tied for 7th-most in single season in school history, while 133 at-bats tied for 4th-best in single season … Had hits in 28 of 39 games, including 14 multiple-hit games and 3 multiple-RBI games … Had 3 hits in a game 3 times during season … Went 5-for-7 with 6 runs scored, 4 doubles and 2 RBI in doubleheader sweep of Macalester on March 31.

SHANEK TELPHIA (Track and Field) -- 2010 Outdoor Track and Field: MIAC champion in 100-meter dash, 4X All-MIAC, NCAA national championships qualifier in 400-meter relay; 2011 Indoor Track and Field: MIAC champion in 800-meter relay, 3X All-MIAC, MIAC Athlete of Week … Sprinter … In 2010 outdoor season, claimed conference title in 100-meter dash (12.44), while finishing 2nd in 200 (25.54), third in long jump (5.22 meters/17-feet-1.5) and as a part of the title-winning 400-meter relay (47.88) … Qualified for NCAA Division III national championships as part of 400-meter relay … In 2011 indoor season, claimed title as part of 800-meter relay at MIAC indoor championships, setting meet and school record in 1:42.50 … Also finished 2nd in 200-meter dash (25.51) and 2nd in 400-meter dash (58.94), 5th as part of 1,600-meter relay (school-record 4:05.29) and 8th in 55-meter dash (7.73) … Earned MIAC Athlete of Week honors on Feb. 8 after winning both 55 and 200 at Bethel Invitational.

STEFANI ZAPPA (Golf) -- All-MIAC, Academic All-MIAC … Became first Augsburg women’s golfer to ever earn multiple All-MIAC honors with school’s best-ever individual finish at MIAC championships, placing 7th with a school-record-tying 250 score over 54 holes … 1 of just 2 Augsburg women’s golfers to ever record three top-25 finishes at MIAC championships … Led team during fall half of season with 88.7 stroke average and .623 winning percentage (205-124) … Had 5 of team’s top-11 individual rounds during fall half of season, including team-leading 81 in final round of 2010 MIAC championships.
