JESSA HINZ (2010 Softball) -- All-MIAC first team, Academic All-MIAC … Outfielder/shortstop … In 2010, had best year of career, hitting .338 with 45 hits, 29 runs scored, 11 doubles, 2 triples, 2 home runs, 15 RBI, a .496 slugging percentage and .385 on-base percentage … 11 doubles were tied for 7th-most in single season in school history, while 133 at-bats tied for 4th-best in single season … Had hits in 28 of 39 games, including 14 multiple-hit games and 3 multiple-RBI games … Had 3 hits in a game 3 times during season … Went 5-for-7 with 6 runs scored, 4 doubles and 2 RBI in doubleheader sweep of Macalester on March 31.

SHANEK TELPHIA (Track and Field) -- 2010 Outdoor Track and Field: MIAC champion in 100-meter dash, 4X All-MIAC, NCAA national championships qualifier in 400-meter relay; 2011 Indoor Track and Field: MIAC champion in 800-meter relay, 3X All-MIAC, MIAC Athlete of Week … Sprinter … In 2010 outdoor season, claimed conference title in 100-meter dash (12.44), while finishing 2nd in 200 (25.54), third in long jump (5.22 meters/17-feet-1.5) and as a part of the title-winning 400-meter relay (47.88) … Qualified for NCAA Division III national championships as part of 400-meter relay … In 2011 indoor season, claimed title as part of 800-meter relay at MIAC indoor championships, setting meet and school record in 1:42.50 … Also finished 2nd in 200-meter dash (25.51) and 2nd in 400-meter dash (58.94), 5th as part of 1,600-meter relay (school-record 4:05.29) and 8th in 55-meter dash (7.73) … Earned MIAC Athlete of Week honors on Feb. 8 after winning both 55 and 200 at Bethel Invitational.
