MARCUS BRUMM (FOOTBALL) – All-MIAC second team, MIAC Athlete of the Week (Sept. 24), Academic All-MIAC … Led the MIAC in passing yardage per-game for the third consecutive season … Completed 196-of-340 passing for 2,295 yards and 15 touchdowns on the season … ranked third in the conference in total offense (232.3 yards per-game) … 15 passing touchdowns ranked fourth in the conference … Was named MIAC Offensive Player of the Week after a 26-of-42, 401-yard, four-touchdown effort, including a last-second, game-winning touchdown pass, in Augsburg's 32-31 win at St. John's on Sept. 24.

ANDY GRZESIAK-GRIMM (BASKETBALL) – All-MIAC, D3hoops.com All-West Region third team, D3hoops.com Team of the Week (Jan. 18) ... One of three MIAC players named to D3hoops.com All-West Region Team … Had the best statistical year of his career in 2011-12, nearly averaging a double-double, with 15.2 points (seventh in conference) and 9.7 rebounds per-game (first in conference), while also recording 14 blocked shots, 21 steals and 50 assists … His .554 field-goal percentage ranked fifth among conference players, while his 0.54 blocked shots per-game was tied for 15th-best and his .768 free-throw percentage was ranked 15th … Scored his 1,000th career point and recorded his 700th career rebound during the season … Posted 12 double-doubles on the season including four straight at one point.

CHAD JOHNSON (WRESTLING) – NCAA D-III National Champion (heavyweight), Great Lakes Regional Champion … Won Division III national championship at heavyweight to earn All-American honors … Also won titles at Auggie-Brute-Adidas Open, MSU Moorhead Dragon Open and Citrus Invitational … Finished the season with a 36-1 record with 25 wins in a row … Lone loss came to DII national runner-up … Recorded 12 pins and eight major decisions on the year.

NICK WARD (2011 TRACK AND FIELD) – 2011 Indoor Track: NCAA Division III National Championships Qualifier (55m dash), All-MIAC (champion, 55m dash; champion, long jump; 3rd, 200m dash), All-MIAC Honorable Mention (800m relay) … 2011 Outdoor Track: NCAA Division III National Championships Qualifier (100m dash), All-MIAC (champion, 400m relay, 2nd, 100m dash) … MIAC Athlete of the Week (Feb. 28, April 11, April 18) … Set a school record (10.73 seconds) in the outdoor 100-meter dash … Placed second in the finals of the 100-meter dash at the MIAC Outdoor Championships … Anchor on the 400-meter relay team which finished first at the outdoor conference meet and captured the school’s first-ever conference title in the event … Claimed titles in the 55-meter dash and long jump at the 2011 MIAC Indoor Championships.
