10148GOLF (10th at MIAC Championships in 2014; 9th at MIAC Championships in 2015) -- With all five players finishing among the top 50 in the individual standings, Augsburg finished ninth at the MIAC Championships in the fall … Augsburg’s final score was a 14-stroke improvement over last year’s 10th-place finish ... Isabel Karbo finished 25th place with a 259 total, her second-round 83 was the best single-round score of the tournament for the Auggies … Augsburg finished the fall half of the 2015-16 season with a 361.4 team stroke average, with two players recording sub-90 stroke averages … Augsburg recorded six sub-360 team rounds among its 12 in the fall half of the season.
10545HOCKEY (9-11-5 overall, 7-7-4 MIAC in 2014-15; 13-10-3 overall, 10-5-3 MIAC in 2015-16) -- Augsburg recorded its best finish in conference play since the 1999-00 season, finishing in third place with a 10-5-3 league record … Augsburg’s 13 overall wins also tied its best overall finish since the 2004-05 season … The Auggies swept St. Catherine, St. Olaf, Concordia, and Hamline in league play … Three Auggies earned All-MIAC honors: forward Kayla Fuechtmann, goalie Erika Allen and forward Callen Naasz, while three more were named All-MIAC honorable-mention: Defender Valeria Whichello, defender Danielle Heitkamp and forward Megan Johnson … Fuechtman was named the 2016 recipient of the MIAC’s Sheila Brown Award, which is given to a senior women’s hockey player who has made a long-term contribution to her team’s success and who has consistently competed with good sportsmanship. 
98132015 LACROSSE (6-7 overall in 2014; 7-8 overall in 2015) -- Augsburg finished 7-8 against varsity opponents in its second season in 2015, and had a 2-1 mark against Minnesota club opponents … Augsburg claimed five wins in its last seven games, outscoring its opponents by a 99-61 margin … The Auggies also claimed road wins at Benedictine (Ill.), Wartburg, Cornell, and Linfield on the season … Seven Auggies scored 10-plus goals in the 15 varsity games, led by Delaney Everett’s 34 goals … Lexi Halvorson claimed a team-best 49 draw controls.
11159TRACK AND FIELD (11th at 2015 MIAC Indoor Championships; 10th at 2016 MIAC Indoor Championships) -- Augsburg improved its place at the MIAC Indoor Championships, and increased its overall point total by recording 26 points in 2016, compared to 18 in 2015 … Callie Jones led the Auggies, with an indoor championship in the 60-meter dash, while Taybri Irving earned All-Conference honors finishing in second in the 5,000-meter run, a 15 spot improvement after finishing 17th in 2015 … The Auggies earned top-10 finishes in eight different events in 2016, compared to seven in 2015.Â
