150322017 LACROSSE (2017: 12-6 overall, 8-3 MWLC, MWLC playoff participant; 2016: 11-7 overall, 6-3 MWLC, MWLC playoff participant) -- Augsburg earned a trip to the Midwest Women’s Lacrosse Conference postseason playoffs for the second straight year since joining the league. The Auggies won their first three games and five of their first six, then closed the regular season with three wins in their final four games, including a 16-15 overtime win at league rival Concordia-Wisconsin. Defender Christina Nelson earned All-MWLC first-team honors for the second team in a row, joining midfielder Delaney Everett on the first team. Attacker Helena Nguyen and midfielder Rachel Frantz were All-MWLC Honorable Mention recipients. Augsburg outscored its opponents by a 243-165 margin in 2017.
150332017 SOFTBALL (2017: 21-19 overall, 9-13 MIAC; 2016: 20-20 overall, 9-13 MIAC) -- Under first-year head coach Melissa Lee, Augsburg recorded its first above-.500 overall finish since 2010 season, finishing with 20-plus wins for the sixth time in the last 10 seasons. The Auggies claimed a 13-7 record in the first half of the season, and later claimed league doubleheader sweeps of Carleton, Concordia-Moorhead and Bethel. Pitcher Samantha Anderson earned All-MIAC honors for the second straight year, while outfielder Brianna Cline, infielder Carly Dropik and outfielder Katie Parker earned All-MIAC Honorable Mention recognition. Augsburg hit .285 as a team and outscored its opponents by a 302-288 margin in 2017.
