Christian Hodges had a remarkable rookie season in goal for the Auggies, earning MIAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, and United Soccer Coaches All-Region first-team and All-America second-team honors. He set Augsburg single-season school records with 18 wins and 13 shutouts, as the Auggies advanced to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Division III national tournament.

Shawn Huberty had a strong start to his college career, finishing fourth at the MIAC indoor championships in the high jump. He cleared 5-feet-8 in all eight of his indoor meets, with a personal-best of 6-feet-2-and-three-quarters inches. He cleared 6-feet-2 in his opening outdoor meet.

Nolan Nenow made solid contributions to Augsburg’s forward lines this season, finishing second on the team with 11 goals, while adding five assists for 16 points in 2 games. He had three power-play goals and a plus-eight plus-minus rating, and earned MIAC Player of the Week honors after a five goal, two-assist weekend against Lake Forest in January.

JJ Semanko earned MIAC Rookie of the Year honors with a dominating campaign. He led the Auggies in points, rebounds and assists, averaging 17.8 points, 8.6 rebounds per-game, adding 67 assists. He scored in double figures in 24 of Augsburg’s 27 games, and earned All-Conference honors, in addition to being named D3Hoops.com Region 9 Rookie of the Year and an All-Region selection.
