Bryan Ludwig (Augsburg '08) joined the Augsburg baseball coaching staff ahead of the 2021 season as its Catching Coordinator.
Playing Experience/Achievements
Bryan attended Augsburg from 2004-2008 and was a member of the Auggie baseball team as a catcher and designated hitter. He also played two years of Auggie football as a fullback and linebacker. Following the baseball season in 2008, Bryan was named to the CoSIDA, All-MIAC, and All-District Academic Teams.
Coaching Experience
After graduating, Bryan spent 10 seasons with the Minnesota Twins as a bullpen catcher and was in the American League bullpen for the 2014 MLB All-Star Game at Target Field. Bryan began his coaching journey in 2009 and has worked with countless catchers in both baseball and softball across all levels throughout the state of Minnesota.
