Auggie Athlete FAQ:
Career Goal? My goal for my career is to be successful.  In an ideal world I would eventually play in the MLB and that is what I strive for at every practice, to be the best player I can be.  I want to succeed in everything I do and be successful as a person.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? I chose Augsburg because of the sense of community I got while touring and conversing with the faculty.  I felt accepted and appreciated for who I was as a person while on campus.
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? My athletic goals at Augsburg University are both team goals and personal goals.  I expect from myself to be the best teammate I can be and support everyone on their journey through baseball.  My personal goals are to be a top 5 pitcher on the team by the start of my sophomore year and be able to throw 90mph by the same time as well.
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? The biggest thrill I have experienced and think is possible in athletics as a player is throwing a runner out at a base.  As an outfielder, making a perfect throw to home to save a run is the best experience a player can have.
What differentiates you from teammates or other students? I feel that I am one of the players who just enjoys playing the game so much they will do anything to be the best.  I know people who play the game because they are naturally good at it, but don't love playing the game.  Other people are forced to play it because it was their parents dream to have a kid play in college or at a higher level.  I feel that I bring energy, happiness, and an open mind to every team meeting, practice, workout, or game.
What is a little known fact about yourself? I have never moved houses in my life so I am a bit nervous about leaving and being on my own.
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? I am a woodworker and love building things with my hands or creating objects from nothing.
What are you most thankful for? My friends and experiences I have gained from being with them.  Learning new things about life and how the best way to live is.
