Bridgeport Tusler (Bethel University '18) enters his first season as a volunteer assistant coach on the Augsburg football coaching staff in 2020.
Playing Experience/Achievements
Tusler graduated from Osseo High School in 2013. In his high school career, he achieved accolades in both basketball and football. In football, Tusler was AP player of the year, Metro Player of the Year and 2012 Mr. Football. He was also the starting point guard for the 2012 Basketball State Champions.
Tusler attended South Dakota State to play football and then transferred to Bethel University after his freshman year. Tusler attended Bethel for four years where he played basketball and football. His basketball team won the 2016-17 MIAC Championship.
Personal Notes
Tusler graduated from Bethel with a Biblical and Theological Studies degree in 2018. Tusler is a high school teacher and Boys varsity basketball coach at Monticello High School.
Tusler married is married to Angie Davison who played NCAA Division I basketball at Northern Iowa and holds records in academics and 3-point shooting. She is an elementary school teacher in the Osseo District.
