Mathias Durie (Bethel '19) is in his first year as a graduate fellow at Augsburg in the 2022 season. He spent the 2021 season as a graduate assistant coach at North Park University (Ill.).
An All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference selection at tight end during his playing days at Bethel University (Minn.), Durie started his coaching career at Minneapolis North (Minn.) High School, where he spent the 2020 season as the offensive assistant and tight ends coach, assisting in play calling, tight end, offensive line and wide receiver development, and academic development.
Outside of football, he worked as the videographer for Sanctuary Covenant Church in Minneapolis, where he shot and edited high-quality video to be used on social media and in-service presentations.
