Royce Winford

Royce Winford '12 enters his 11th year coaching, and third year at Augsburg in 2021, as the wide receivers coach. 

Previous Coaching Experience:
Winford also coaches varsity basketball and is the JV head coach at Osseo High School.

Playing Experience/Achievements:
Winford graduated from Osseo High School and went on to play football at Augsburg where he was one of the top wide receivers in Augsburg football history. While at Augsburg, he earned Division III All-American honors form D3football.com in 2007 and 2008 and was also named MIAC Play of the Year and D3football.com West Regional Offensive Player of the Year. Winford was a two-time All-MIAC selection and a two-time All-West Regional honoree.

Personal/Family Notes:
Winford gradated from Augsburg with a degree in health education and teaches AVID at Osseo High School.

Winford lives in New Hope with his wife, Neili, and their children, McCoy and Burke.
