Football Assistant Coach (Linebackers)

Thomas Barber (University of Minnesota ’19) enters his first season as an assistant coach on the Augsburg football coaching staff in 2021. Barber will work with the Auggie linebackers.

Playing Experience/Achievements

Barber graduated from Robbinsdale Armstrong High School in 2016, where he lettered in football and hockey.
Barber attended the University of Minnesota to play football, where he was a four-year letter winner.

Finished his Minnesota career with 274 tackles (167 solo), 19.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two interceptions, four forced fumbles and finished tied for second in school history with seven fumble recoveries.

Barber graduated from Minnesota with a degree in Business and Marketing Education in 2019. Barber is currently an Admission’s counselor at Augsburg.
