Career Goal? Architect with my own firm/business.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? Class-size, inclusiveness, community, and opportunities.
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? To challenge myself and perform at a higher level of competition.
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? Being a part of a team in general, going through the ups and downs of a sport as a family.
What differentiates you from teammates or other students? I like to believe that I'm pretty outgoing and compassionate. I know that I make it a point to everyone in my life that I can be seen as reliable and that I want to bring a more positive energy into everywhere I go!
What is a little known fact about yourself? I'm half-Vietnamese! My mother immigrated to the states a little over 20 years ago and the rest is history. She always made sure that my sister and I were involved in our culture, which is something I am very proud of!
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? My hobbies outside of athletics mainly include painting and spending time with friends, whether its going out for whatever reason is thought of or staying in to watch Netflix. I also love to cook and an unusual fact about myself is that I have a phobia of frogs and toads (preferably kept out of the press but is something fun to know about me).
What are you most thankful for? My family for sure.
Any other personal tidbits? I've faced a lot of challenges and adversity in my life. From experiences a lot of deaths in my family to struggling with my own mental health, all of it has taught me a lot and really changed me as a person. I am also very open about everything, so never hesitate to ask!
