Bakary Konaté joined the Augsburg men's basketball coaching staff ahead of the 2023-24 season.

Playing experience:
Konaté played Division I basketball at the University of Minnesota from 2014-2018, appearing in 117 games and making 39 starts for the Golden Gophers. In his four seasons at Minnesota, Konaté averaged 2.6 points and 3.4 rebounds per-game.
