Tyler Schmidt (Augsburg '13) has been involved as a member of the Augsburg men's basketball program since 2009. A four-year guard with the Auggies (2009-13), Schmidt earned All-MIAC honors as a junior and All-MIAC honorable mention in his senior season. In 91 games (54 starts) as an Auggie, Schmidt scored 849 points (9.3 ppg), and led the conference in free-throw percentage (.907) his junior year. Schmidt also holds the record for highest career free-throw percentage in Augsburg history (.871). In addition to coaching, Schmidt works full-time as a Salesforce System Administrator at Cargill in Minneapolis.Â
