Hunter Anderson (UW-Stout '20) joined the Augsburg men's hockey coaching staff as an assistant coach in the 2023-24 season.
A native of Savage, Minn. (Burnsville HS), Anderson played for three seasons at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, after playing his first collegiate seasons at the University of Alabama-Huntsville. With the Blue Devils, he played in 57 games in his career, scoring 11 goals with 19 assists for 30 career points. He earned All-Wisconsin-Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Honorable Mention honors in the 2017-18 season. He was a Western Collegiate Hockey Association Scholar-Athlete honoree in his lone season at Alabama-Huntsville.
Anderson played his junior hockey with the BCHL's Langley Rivermen (2014-15), Lincoln Stars (USHL, 2013-14) and Coulee Region Chill (NAHL, 2013-14). He was an All-Academic honoree in his high school career at Burnsville HS, where he scored 26 goals with 52 assists for 78 points in three seasons (2009-12).
