Aaron Wylie (Augsburg '16), a four-year member of Augsburg's men's soccer team, is in his first season as a student assistant coach for the Auggies in 2016.
A midfielder for the Auggies, Wylie appeared in 62 games in his four seasons, scoring two goals with an assist. He had a game-winning goal and assist in his senior season, when he averaged 59.3 minutes played per-game.Â
He is currently playing for the Minnesota United Reserves, a Premier League of America (PLA) team coached by Augsburg alum Andy Seidel '09.
As a high school player at Des Moines (Iowa) Lincoln, he earned first-team all-state honors, while being named a first-team all-conference honoree twice. He was a two-year team captain and was also selected for a Junior Olympic soccer team. He scored 43 goals with 23 assists in his high school career.
