Eric Singer (Concordia-Moorhead '00) enters his 10th season and second stint as an Augsburg College men's soccer assistant coach in 2016. He also coached with the Auggies from 2004-06.

Coaching Highlights:
Assistant Coach for the Tommie women and helped them to an MIAC title and two NCAA playoff berths in three seasons.

Playing Experience/Achievements:
A four-year starter at Concordia-Moorhead (1996-99), Singer earned All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors three straight years at three different positions -- defense his sophomore year, midfield his junior season and forward his senior year, also earning All-Region honors his senior season. Concordia won the MIAC title and advanced to the NCAA Division III round of 16 during his freshman year, while finishing second in the conference his sophomore season. As a prep soccer player at Robbinsdale Armstrong HS, Singer earned All-State honors his senior year, all-conference honors three seasons, and captained the team to the MSHSL State Tournament semifnals.

Personal/Family Notes:

Singer earned his bachelor’s degree in sociology from Concordia in 2000, earned a second bachelor’s degree in social studies education from Minnesota State University-Moorhead in 2002, and earned his master’s degree in educational psychology from MSU-Moorhead in 2004 as well as a psychology specialist degree in 2005. Singer completed his education specialist degree in Educational Leadership from the University of St. Thomas in 2010. Singer currently works as Dean of Students at Roseville Area High School and lives in Columbia Heights, Minn.
