Medo Youssef (Seattle ’18) joined the Augsburg men’s soccer coaching staff in 2019.
 
Prior to Augsburg, Medo was a student-athlete at NCAA Division I Seattle University. During his time at Seattle he helped lead the Redhawks to the NCAA Sweet 16 in 2014 and the second round of the NCAA tournament in 2017. Individually, Youssef earned second-team All-WAC honors in 2017 after scoring five goals and four assists.

Medo played his prep soccer with the Eden Prairie high school soccer club, where he was a member of a squad that claimed the 2009 and 2010 Minnesota state championships. He was also a member of the Olympic Development Program US National Team, the Minnesota Thunder Football Club Academy U18, Crossfire Football Club Academy U18, Seattle Sounders Football club U23.

At the professional level, Medo spent the 2018-19 year playing for the Egyptian second division side Esco Football Club.

Medo graduated with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Seattle University.
