Career Goal? To receive a college diploma and start my own business.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? My brother attends Hamline and after seeing his experience with a smaller liberal arts school I knew that was the route I wanted to go. Two of my former teammates attend Augsburg and they introduced me to the soccer program and I really felt like the coach was a right fit for me, so I visited Minneapolis and loved the area and Augsburg offers many majors that I am interested in.
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? To have a starting role on the soccer team by the end of my first year.
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? As a centerback, it has to be scoring goals. I don't get up the field very often so when I put the ball in the back of the net, especially in a crucial moment, nothing gets better than that.
What differentiates you from teammates or other students? I am a natural leader on and off the field, I hold myself accountable for my mistakes, and I prioritize hard work, passion, and building a sense of community. I know how to keep things light-hearted and fun while still having high expectations for myself and my teammates.
What is a little known fact about yourself? I sang "Don't Stop Believin" by Journey in my third grade talent show
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? I love art. When I have free time or need a mental break I will get on my pottery wheel and make clay pots, bowls, and mugs. I also love to cook. I feel that food brings people together especially when the food is made with love. Lastly I am a total outdoorsy guy, I have a cabin in the north woods of Wisconsin and I jump at the opportunity whenever I can bird watch or catch wildlife on my trail cam, or go fishing. 
What are you most thankful for? My family. I have a very large extended family that has always been so supportive of each other no matter how far apart we live, and on top of that my parents and my brother have been so impactful in making me who I am today and shown nonstop love.
Any other personal tidbits? I started my own lawn mowing and snow removal business.
