Auggie Athlete FAQ:
Career Goal? My career goals. I want to become a Clinical Psychologist. I have seen first hand how bad mental health can affect someone and I watched that person try to seek the help they needed for it.  Getting into see a psychologist is very hard right now. Sometimes it takes months and for a mentally ill person that is a very long time.  I just want to work with people from either a hospital or clinic.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? Why I choose to attend Augsburg. One of the things I love about Augsburg is that they are ELCA Lutheran. `Going to Augsburg not only means I get to play softball and further my academics, but I also get to grow and continue in my faith. One of the other things I love about Augsburg is that they want you to be involved in the college. Coming from Randolph I was a very involved student, so going to Augsburg meant that I get to also be in Theatre and Band if I wanted to. 
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? Athletic Goal at Augsburg. Softball for me has always been about the smile that's on my face while playing and the fun I'm having. Playing at Augsburg I'm looking for a second family in this team. I want to have fun and be competitive with other girls who are there for the same reason I am. To continue there skills at the higher level. Everyday I am hoping to get better and play the game I love to play. 
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? For me one of the biggest thrills I get when playing softball is that feeling after you get a great hit and you got a runner to score and you're standing on second base. That feeling of getting your team on the scoreboard and having your teammates all cheering and screaming at you. I love that feeling. Most times you can find me smiling ear to ear and cheering back to my teammates. 
What is a little known fact about yourself? Little known fact about me is that I love drinking coffee.  Black coffee is what I love and drink most mornings.  I love Cold-Brew and just hot coffee. I look forward to starting my days with a fresh cup of coffee.
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? Something I find interesting about myself. I live on my family's farm in a small town in southeast Minnesota. On our farm we raise free-range and antibiotic free Tom turkeys. We have two barns with 8,000 birds in each barn and 16,000 all together. We are contract growers for a local market in Cannon Falls Minnesota. We are a finishing farm which means we get our turkeys at 5 weeks old and raise them to 20 weeks old. We want them to have an ideal weight of 40lbs when they go to market.  
What are you most thankful for? What I am most thankful for. All the support that I have.  My family has always been there for me while playing sports.  Especially my parents and having them drive my places.  The support from my community is also huge. Seeing everyone at our state, conference, and section games.
