Auggie Athlete FAQ:
Career Goal? Teach grade k-8 to start off tenure. Eventually, I'd like to teach k-12 with a focus on science. Eventually, I want to move up the superintendent board of a chosen district and be part of an equity in education committee to focus on racial equity in schools.
Why did I choose to attend Augsburg? Because I've heard nothing but great things about the school and preferred a smaller school, I also love how diverse the student body is. It's possibly the most diverse you can find in a small MN school.
Athletic Goal at Augsburg? I'd like to hopefully be a key player by at least my 3rd year. I also like to be viewed as a top defender.
Biggest Thrill in Athletics? My biggest thrill in athletics was probably scoring 27 points in one of my aau basketball games with the MN SUNS at Mill city. 
What differentiates you from teammates or other students? I am very passionate about everything I do, especially Basketball. I am also super big on teamwork and being a solid united team. When I played basketball at Eastview high school, my coach often told me that my dedication and friendliness were super important and brought everyone closer together. Most of my coaches have described me as a silent leader because I typically lead by example before i lead verbally which they said goes back to me being a passionate team player. My team always come first.
What is a little known fact about yourself? My sister and I are what you call Irish Twins. We were born within the same year and spend exactly one month every year being the same age. My birthday is 10/17/2001 and hers is 11/17/2000. We also used to look exactly alike!
List any interesting, non-athletic hobbies, talents or unusual facts about yourself? I will never pass up the opportunity to enlighten people about racial injustices.  Fighting for racial equity and equality is one of my biggest passions.
What are you most thankful for? My mom because she raised me and my two of my three siblings by herself. She sacrificed everything for us. She spent most of my life unemployed so she could always be there for us whenever we needed her. I think that is one of the most courageous things because in the society we are in you need money to survive and she kept us fed, clothed, and sheltered.
