Lawrence Tsoi (Michigan '07) is in his third season as an Augsburg women's soccer volunteer assistant coach in 2016.

Most recently, Tsoi has served as director of girls' coaching for the Minneapolis United Soccer Club, a youth soccer organization. He also served as girls' soccer head coach at Minneapolis South High School for three seasons.

Since joining Minneapolis United in 2007, Tsoi has served as staff trainer, head coach, and is currently the girls' director of coaching, managing a staff of 20-plus coaches and overseeing 30-plus teams for kids ages 9 to 19. In his six years with the club, he has guided teams to several league promotions and state championships.

In his three seasons (2009-11) as head coach at Minneapolis South High School, his teams won Minneapolis City Conference titles twice (2010, 2011), while earning Minnesota State High School Soccer Coaches Association (MSHSSCA) Academic Champions team honors each of his three seasons. Tsoi was named Section 6AA Coach of the Year in 2010 and was a finalist for the honor in 2012.

He currently also serves as a staff coach/evaluator for the Minnesota Olympic Development Program. He holds a United States Soccer Federation 'C' coaching license. Tsoi graduated in 2003 from the University of Michigan with a degree in Economics. He currently lives in Plymouth, Minn., with his wife Sara and their lab retriever Toby.Â
