Leslie Oskey (Lakeland '10), a former collegiate soccer head coach and assistant coach, is in her third season as an Augsburg women's soccer assistant coach in 2019, guiding the goalkeepers.
Previous Coaching Experience
After spending two seasons as an assistant coach at NCAA Division III Mount Holyoke College (Mass.), she spent the 2014 campaign as head coach at Cornell College in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
She moved to Minnesota in 2015, coaching for the Edina Soccer Club. Since 2016, she has worked as a personal trainer at the YWCA of Minneapolis. She has worked as a youth and high school coach in Wisconsin, Massachusetts and Iowa before coming to Minnesota.
Playing Experience
A native of Howards Grove, Wis., Oskey played collegiate soccer as a goalkeeper and defender at Lakeland College (Wis.), where she was a two-year team captain and 2008 NCAA Academic Scholar Award honoree. She also played club soccer during a study abroad semester in Argentina. Later, she served in the United States Marine Corps Reserves for three-and-a-half years.
Personal Notes
Oskey earned her bachelor's degree in sport studies and Spanish from Lakeland in 2010, and earned her master's degree in exercise science and sport studies from Smith College (Mass.) in 2014. She is a NASM certified personal trainer.
