Zafer Kilickan, a former professional soccer player in Europe and the United States, has served on Augsburg's women's soccer coaching staff for more than a decade in various capacities.

Previous Coaching Experience:
Youth Coach (U9 and U17 boys) - Shakopee Soccer Association (2018-present)
Soccer Coach - Shattuck-St. Mary's Soccer Academy (2007-10)
Academy Coordinator - Shattuck-St. Mary’s School (2007-10)
Youth Camp Director - Minnesota Thunder (2002-07)
Youth Development Director - Minneapolis United Soccer (2004-07)

Playing Experience/Achievements:
A native of Goluck, Turkey, Kilickan played professionally for five different Turkish professional teams from 1991-2002. Kilickan then moved to the United States where he played as a member of the Minnesota Thunder professional soccer team from 2002-06. Following the 2002 season, Kilickan was awarded the club's Humanitarian Award for his volunteer work in the twin cities community.

Personal/Family Notes:
In addition to his coaching career, Kilickan serves as a substitute teacher in the Minneapolis School District.
