Auggie Athlete FAQs
Career Goal: To be an English professor, a writer, and an editor.
What I Like Most About Augsburg: The people -- coaches, teammates, classmates, & professors!
Athletic Goal: To compete at the NCAA Championships
Biggest Thrill: Setting a season best in the 1500 meter this past year by listening to coach Meghan Peyton's advice and starting out at a reasonable pace -- I like to go out fast at the gun! But her advice helped me run my best race of the season.
Special/Interesting Fact: I'm an undaunted optimist. And I drink more coffee than anyone else on the team.
Little Known Fact: I like to listen to podcasts while I run (This American Life, Invisibilia, Serial, Dear Sugar, and more!).
Unusual Fact: I love to write, run, and read. After I graduate, one of my goals is to complete the Pikes Peak Ascent in Manitou Springs, CO, just like my mom and grandma have.
