CAREER GOAL: My goal is to become a lawyer, preferably working in family law. I’m currently majoring in pre-law and hope to either join a private law firm or eventually open my own practice. I’m passionate about helping people navigate tough situations and want to make a real impact in my community through the legal system.
WHY DID I CHOOSE TO ATTEND AUGSBURG: I chose Augsburg because it has a strong pre-law program, which aligns perfectly with my career goals. The smaller class sizes make it easier to build relationships with professors and stay focused academically. It was also important to me to attend a diverse school, and Augsburg stood out in that area. On top of that, being able to continue playing volleyball at the collegiate level made my decision even easier. My family also encouraged me, which made it feel like the right fit.
ATHLETIC GOAL AT AUGSBURG: My main athletic goals at Augsburg are to improve my blocking skills and grow as a strong, reliable leader on the court. I want to lead by example, bring positive energy, and support my teammates however I can.
BIGGEST THRILL IN ATHLETICS: My biggest thrill in athletics was during ninth grade when my team won our home tournament. It was such a special moment because I got to play alongside my closest friends, and we were coached by the best coach I’ve ever had. That experience was unforgettable, and I still keep in touch with that coach to this day. It reminded me how powerful team chemistry and great leadership can be, and it helped fuel my passion for volleyball even more.
WHAT AM I MOST THANKFUL FOR: I’m most thankful for the people who support me—especially my dad, who gives me strength every day, and my grandparents, who are always there for me. I never take having a roof over my head for granted, and I’m beyond grateful for my dog, Remy, and my cat, Leo. They’re a huge source of comfort and love in my life.
