Emily Palkert enters her fourth year as an assistant coach for the Augsburg volleyball team in 2015. As a middle hitter at NCAA Division II power Concordia-St. Paul, Palkert was a part of Golden Bear teams that won four straight Division II national titles, while earning all-conference, all-region and All-American honors each of her four seasons. Palkert was also named the AVCA's National Freshman of the Year and Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Freshman of the Year in 2007. Palkert finished her career as CSP's all-time leader in kills (1,898), ranking in the school's top five list in seven career categories.
