Ali (Howk) Paradise joined the Augsburg women’s wrestling team as an assistant coach in the 2024-25 school year.
A native of Blue Springs, Mo., and current resident of River Falls, Wis., Paradise (nee Howk) is an accomplished freestyle wrestler in the 55-kilogram weight class. She most recently earned the championship at the 2024 Pan American Games in Mexico City, Mexico, after receiving the silver medal at the event in 2023. She earned U23 national champion honors twice, was a U23 world bronze medalist in 2022 and earned the 2023 U.S. Open championship. She was a U.S. Olympic Team Trials qualifier in 2024, and was a USA Wrestling national team member in 2023-24.
