Dr. B.J. Anderson (Minnesota '86) has served Augsburg University student-athletes as director of general medicine for two decades. Dr. Anderson serves as a primary care provider for the University of Minnesota Boynton Health Service. Dr. Anderson did an internship in general surgery at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center in Chicago, and a residency in family practice at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1990. He currently serves as a tournament physician for freestyle wrestling at the USA Junior National tournament in Fargo, N.D. He is on the Minnesota State High School League Medical Advisory Committee, as well as the National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) Medical Advisory Committee for Minnesota/USA Wrestling.
