MINNEAPOLIS (10/6/01) --
Kim Glumich (Jr., Moorhead, Minn.) tallied the only goal of the contest on a corner kick eight minutes into the game, sparking Augsburg College to its second 1-0 victory in a row, this one over the College of St. Catherine, in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer game Saturday afternoon at Augsburg's Edor Nelson Field.

Heidi Hilleren (So., Duluth, Minn./Duluth East HS), was all the Auggies would need in improving to 5-5-1 overall and 3-2-1 in MIAC play. St. Catherine drops to 3-9-0 overall and 0-7-0 in the MIAC.
St. Catherine outshot Augsburg by a 12-11 margin, but Auggie goalkeeper
Laura Hoffman (So., Bloomington, Minn./Kennedy HS) made eight saves to pick up her fourth shutout of the season and the team's sixth.
Jenny Martin (Fr., Plymouth, Minn./Wayzata HS) had three shots to lead the Auggies, while Mindy Daugherty (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) had three shots to lead the Wildcats. St. Catherine's Kristin Wros (Fr., River Falls, Wis.) made three saves in a losing effort.
Both teams return to action on Wednesday (10/10) at 4 p.m., St. Catherine hosting Gustavus and Augsburg hosting Hamline.
