BOXSCORE
NORTHFIELD, Minn. (1/19/02) -- Karissa Kramer (Jr., Clearwater, Minn./Monticello HS) scored a career-high 20 points on 7-of-9 shooting and Carleton College held Augsburg College without a field goal for the first 9:23 in cruising to a 74-49 victory in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's basketball game Saturday afternoon at Carleton's West Gym.
The win also gave Carleton head coach Tammy Metcalf-Filzen her 100th career victory. In her fifth season at Carleton, Metcalf-Filzen is now 74-44 at Carleton after posting a 26-26 mark at St. Olaf College in the 1980s.
The Knights (14-3, 12-2 MIAC) won for the 17th time in 18 tries at home and posted their fourth straight win. Karen Fricke (Jr., Lincolnshire, Ill./Stevenson HS) added 12 points and Cara Jones (Jr., Minneapolis, Minn./Minnehaha Academy) posted 11. Carleton's starters outscored Augsburg's 49-2.

Megan Wetzell (So., Wells, Minn./United South Central HS) was also in double figures with a career-high 10. It was the first time either player had scored in double figures in their Auggie careers.
Carleton raced out to 12-2 advantage in the first 3:19, eventually leading, 23-4 midway through the half.
The Knights shot 50.8 percent from the floor and turned 33 Auggie turnovers into 37 points. Carleton is now 9-0 on the season when breaking the 70-point mark and 6-0 when shooting 50 percent or better from the field.
