Millie Suk * (Jr., Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) scored on a penalty kick in the second overtime, giving Augsburg a 1-0 victory over Gustavus Adolphus College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer game Saturday afternoon at Lund Field.
Suk claimed a penalty kick goal with 5:57 remaining in the second overtime period, as Augsburg improved to 6-5-0 overall, 4-2-0 in MIAC play. After starting the season 0-3, Augsburg has won six of its last eight games, including three shutouts for goalkeeper

Gustavus drops to 1-8-1 overall, 0-6 in MIAC play.
Augsburg outshot Gustavus 12-6 in the defensive struggle. Augsburg had two shots in the overtime sessions, while Gustavus was limited to one shot in the first overtime. Augsburg held a 7-3 advantage in corner kicks.
Tori Boughton made six saves for the Gusties, while Osterman had two saves for the Auggies.
Both teams return to MIAC action on Tuesday (10/12) at 4 p.m. Augsburg hosts St. Benedict at Edor Nelson Field, while Gustavus plays at Bethel.
