ST. PAUL, Minn. (9/24/05) -- Junior Rachelle Dosch had 17 kills and 11 digs and hit .378 to lead the University of St. Thomas (13-3 overall, 4-0 MIAC) to a 30-23, 30-18, 30-23 victory over Augsburg College (2-15, 0-4) in Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference volleyball play Saturday at UST's Schoenecker Arena.
The Tommies, who won their seventh match in a row, hit .333 and moved into a share of the MIAC lead at 4-0 with Carleton. Those teams play Wednesday (9/28) at St. Thomas.
Billie Painschab * (Sr., Howard Lake, Minn./Howard Lake-Waverly HS) had nine kills and eight blocks and
Dani Boner (Fr., Omaha, Neb./Mercy HS) had nine kills and 15 digs for the Auggies.
Augsburg hosts St. Olaf on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Si Melby Hall.
