MINNEAPOLIS  -- The Augsburg College Dance Team claimed a fourth-place finish at the UPA AmeriCup Championship Nationals on Sunday. In addition to the team competing, dancers Sherry and Jill Dean competed in a duet, while Michelle Anderson, Denielle Johnson, and Shannon Twiford competed in a trio and were advanced to finals on Saturday evening where they finished in second place against eight teams from Illinois, Kansas, and California at the UPA Formal Academy Awards Event.

The Augsburg dance team competed in the collegiate jazz division where they earned fourth place honors. Full results are below.
