MINNEAPOLIS -- This coming weekend, the Augsburg Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be hosting its fall Pink Zone Weekend. This event helps raise money and awareness to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The weekend includes four different sporting events where fans are encouraged to come wearing pink.

The volleyball team kicks off the weekend off with a home match against Saint Benedict on Friday, Sept. 23 at 7 p.m. On Saturday, the football team will be competing against Saint John's starting at 1 p.m., followed by a women's soccer alumni game at 5 p.m. and men's soccer game against rival Macalester at 7:30 p.m.

The Augsburg volleyball team will be selling breast cancer awareness t-shirts in the Christensen center on Friday. Help support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation by wearing pink to the Pink Zone Weekend.
