MINNEAPOLIS -- The Augsburg College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) will be hosting the 2012 Homecoming Pep Rally on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. in Si Melby Hall. The pep rally will feature coronation, an awards presentation for the student homecoming decorating contest and the first annual Auggie Pride Competition.

The Auggie Pride competition will be a contest between current Augsburg students to display their school pride! Participants will compete in three events. First, contestants will dress themselves in Auggie gear and accessories. Next, contestants will demonstrate their best dance moves and the audience will select the top three finalists based on performance in the first two rounds. Finally, contestants will answer an interview question and judges will select who has the most Auggie pride. The competition is open to males and females, the only prerequsite is that participants must be registered and enrolled Augsburg students.
