NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg College women's soccer team dropped a 4-0 decision to host St. Olaf College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference contest on Wednesday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.
Augsburg (2-5-2 overall, 1-3-0 MIAC) was outshot by an 18-1 margin by St. Olaf (7-2-0 overall, 3-1-0 MIAC), with Auggie goalkeeper
Diana Bocklund (SO, Pine Springs, Minn./Mahtomedi HS) recording three saves.
The Oles scored twice in the first half, with K.C. Beed and Ellie Steiner scoring goals, and twice in the final eight minutes of the game, with Amanda Leone and Lindsay Howard scoring.
Carly Reimer (SO, Eagan, Minn./Henry Sibley HS) had the lone shot of the game for the Auggies.
Augsburg returns to MIAC play on Saturday (10/2) at 1 p.m. with a game at St. Catherine.
