Auggies drop first conference game, 2-1 at Concordia

MOORHEAD, Minn. -- Marta Anderson (SO, Mankato, Minn./Mankato East HS) scored the lone goal of the game for Augsburg College in the 44th minute, but the Auggies couldn't find the equalizer and dropped a 2-1 decision to host Concordia College-Moorhead in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference women's soccer game on Wednesday afternoon.

• Anderson's goal, her third of the season, came at the 43:11 mark, with Hannah Whitington (SO, Eagle Lake, Minn./Mankato East HS) and Molly Allen (SR, Stillwater, Minn.) credited with the assists.
• Concordia outshot Augsburg by a 7-4 margin, with the Auggies limited to one shot in the second half.
• Marissa Guillou (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) took the loss for the Auggies in goal, collecting five saves.
