QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "We did very well to grind out a point today against a very good Top 25 team on the road. Our back four looked significantly sharper than they had previously and, even though there were moments -- those are going to happen in any game like this. I was very pleased."
• "Nick Lenertz did well to manage the game in the back and he held everything they tossed at him, denying any hint of a second chance. It was very good goalkeeping. Scott Clinton was fantastic from start to finish. Even though he didn't get on the scoresheet, he did all the little things well. I thought Festus Lamin (SO, Little Canada, Minn./Roseville HS) did very well filling in for an injured Sam Connor (JR, Becket, Mass./Williston Northampton School), and when Ben Henry (SO, Manitowoc, Wis./Lincoln HS) had to come out of the game injured, we didn't drop our level."
• "Now our real season begins on Wednesday when we host Saint Mary's. Our fans have been fantastic so far and we haven't given them a ton to be excited about result-wise. Hopefully the MIAC portion of our schedule brings something very exciting from the Auggies."

UP NEXT
• Augsburg hosts Saint Mary's in its MIAC opener on Wednesday (9/17) at 7:30 p.m. at Edor Nelson Field.
