The Auggies were able to extend their lead to as many as 22 points in the second half before cruising on to the 74-54 win.
• Lillquist scored her season-high 19 points on a 7-of-13 afternoon. She also added three rebounds, three assists and a pair of steals.
• Abbey Luger (SR, Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul HS) posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double, the second of her career. Luger also recorded six assists and is currently tied for second in the MIAC in assists per-game, averaging 4.1 agp.
• Also finishing in double figures for the Auggies was Bridget Bednar (FY, Pierz, Minn./Pierz HS) and Jenna Orth (JR, Melrose, Minn./Melrose HS). Bednar scored a career-high 16 points on a 7-of-11 shooting performance, while Orth finished with 10 points and five assists.
• Augsburg outscored St. Kate's 40-20 in points in the paint and 12-6 in fast break points.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 45.8 percent (27-of-59) from the field and connected on 15-of-19 from the free throw line.FOR THE FOES• The Wildcats were led by Mari Lee, who finished with 14 points and seven rebounds, while adding a pair of assists and blocked shots. LaShay Holt led St. Kate's on the boards with 10 rebounds, while adding eight points and six assists.
