Auggie women's soccer suffers 2-1 loss

ST. PETER, Minn. -- Surrendering two second-half goals, the Augsburg College women's soccer team dropped a 2-1 Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference decision at Gustavus Adolphus College on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Trailing 2-0, Augsburg scored its lone goal in the final minute, as Jane Koch (FY, Burnsville, Minn.) scored from Marta Anderson (JR, Mankato, Minn./Mankato East HS) and Kealie Espinda Banick (FY, Apple Valley, Minn./Eastview HS).
• Anderson leads the MIAC's overall statistics in assists (10), while standing second with 18 points. Koch is tied for third in the MIAC with seven goals.
• Augsburg was outshot by an 8-6 margin in the game. Koch had two shots for the Auggies.
• Marissa Guillou (SO, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had two saves in goal for the Auggies.
