Second-half goals give Macalester 2-0 win over Auggies

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Two goals in a 4:14 span in the second half lifted Macalester College to a 2-0 win over Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer game on Saturday afternoon at Macalester Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was limited to one shot in the game, a shot on-goal by Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) late in the second half.
• The Auggies surrendered an "own goal" following a corner kick at the 58:48 mark, and a goal 4:14 later gave the Scots a 2-0 lead.
• Tommy Molski (SO, Woodbury, Minn./North St. Paul HS) had two saves in goal for Augsburg.

FOR THE FOES
• Macalester outshot Augsburg by an 8-1 margin, and had six corner kicks to Augsburg's one. Macalester leads the MIAC with 20 points.
