Oles score 1-0 win over Auggies

NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- Augsburg College surrendered a goal in the 12th minute and was unable score the equalizer, falling 1-0 to host St. Olaf College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer game on Tuesday afternoon at Rolf Mellby Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was limited to two shots in the game, a shot by Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) in the ninth minute and a shot by Aaron Wylie (SR, Des Moines, Iowa) in the 11th minute.
• Tommy Molski (SO, Woodbury, Minn./North St. Paul HS) took the loss in goal for the Auggies, making four saves in the first half. Nick Lenertz (JR, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) had three saves in the second half for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Brenden Johnson scored the lone goal of the game for the Oles, assisted by Kevin Skrip at the 11:17 mark.
• St. Olaf had 24 shots to Augsburg's two, including eight shots on-goal. The Oles also had 10 corner kicks to Augsburg's one.
• Randall Rude played the entire game in goal for the Oles to pick up the shutout win.
