Early goals cost Auggies in 2-1 loss to Bethel

MINNEAPOLIS -- With all three goals scored in the first 10:11 of play, Bethel University claimed a 2-1 victory over host Augsburg College in a Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer contest on Saturday afternoon at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Mohamed Sankoh (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Como Park HS) scored the lone goal of Augsburg, tying the game at 1-1 with his first goal of the season, assisted by Ngochinyan Ollor (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS).
• Augsburg outshot Bethel by an 18-12 margin, including an 11-4 advantage in the second half.
• Sankoh had five shots for Augsburg, while Abdullah Alshayba (FY, Alkhobar, Saudi Arabia) had four shots. Hussein Abdullahi (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) and Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Center, Minn./Park Center HS) had three shots each.
