Abbey Luger (SR, Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul HS) led the Augsburg College women's basketball team to its first-ever Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference playoff victory, posting a 56-50 win at No. 3-seed Concordia College-Moorhead in playoff action on Tuesday evening at Memorial Auditorium. With the win, the Auggies have now set a school record for number of victories in a season with 15.THE BASICSFINAL SCORE: Augsburg 56, Concordia-Moorhead 50

HOW IT HAPPENED• In a game that saw nine lead changes and four tied scores, Augsburg was able to hold Concordia scoreless over the final minute, while hitting 3-of-4 from the free-throw line to seal the victory.
• Luger led all scorers with a game-high 21 points, on 9-of-18 shooting from the floor, while pulling down a game-high nine rebounds and five assists.• Jessica Lillquist (JR, Sebeka, Minn./Sebeka HS) also finished in double figures for the Auggies, posting 10 points while adding four rebounds and two assists.• Marie Fitzgerald (JR, Fort Atkinson, Wis./Fort Atkinson HS) scored eight points and picked up three steals.
• Jenna Orth (JR, Melrose, Minn./Melrose HS) and Bridget Bednar (FY, Pierz, Minn./Pierz HS) added seven points apiece.
• For the game, Augsburg shot 42.3 percent (22-of-52) from the floor, while Concordia connected on 40.9 percent (18-of-44) of its shot attempts.
• Augsburg claimed a 33-28 advantage on the boards.FOR THE FOES• Concordia was led offensively by Erin Januschka, who finished with 12 points.
• Hannah Jeske led the Cobbers on the boards with seven rebounds, while adding six points.BEYOND THE BOXSCORE• This was the Auggies' first trip to the MIAC postseason playoffs.
• Augsburg will now advance to the MIAC semifinals, where the No. 6-seed Auggies will travel to St. Paul to take on No. 1 seed St. Thomas on Thursday at 7 p.m..• The 15th victory of the season marked a new all-time record for single-season victories for the Augsburg women's basketball team.
• With the win, Head Coach Bill McKee claimed his 50th victory.UP NEXT• Augsburg will travel to St. Paul to take on the University of St. Thomas in MIAC semifinal action on Thursday at 7 p.m.
