QUOTES FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH GREG HOLKER
• "This was a good test of where we are after 12 days of training -- for both teams. Superior was a good opponent for us to face out of the gate. We played similarly, but they were sharper in their dangerous moments tonight and grabbed the win on that late long throw we didn't clear."
• "I liked a lot of what I saw -- a lot of it. We held 58 percent possession and connected out of the back very well. Our first-year centerbacks were both outstanding on the night. We used a total of six first-years in the game, and with a little more time they will gain confidence and adjust to the speed of these games. I am really excited about this season. It's a tremendous group to work with, and they have a lot to offer Augsburg soccer.
