Auggies drop double-OT decision at Carroll

WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) scored two goals for Augsburg College, but host Carroll University scored with 56 seconds remaining in the second overtime to claim a 3-2 win in a nonconference game on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• After a scoreless first half, the Auggies struck first in the 62nd minute, as Kordah scored his second goal of the season, assisted by Ngochinyan Ollor (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS).
• After Carroll scored twice in a 2:11 span to take a 2-1 lead, Augsburg tied the game in the 80th minute, as Kordah scored his second goal of the game, assisted by Mohamed Sankoh (SR, Shoreview, Minn./Como Park HS).
• Carroll outshot Augsburg by a 14-9 margin and had 12 corner kicks to Augsburg's five. Nick Lenertz (JR, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) had four saves in goal for the Auggies.

FOR THE FOES
• Francisco Sajuan scored from Andrew Jend in the 65th minute, and Caden Pruitt scored an unassisted goal in the 68th minute to give Carroll a 2-1 lead.
• Liam Michener scored the game-winning goal at the 109:04 mark, assisted by Pruitt.
