Augsburg, Viterbo play to scoreless draw

MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg College and Viterbo University played to a scoreless, two-overtime tie in a nonconference men's soccer game on Friday evening at Edor Nelson Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg outshot Viterbo by a 25-9 margin and had several solid chances to score, especially in the second half. Two shots hit the Viterbo goal frame in the final 10 minutes, and the Auggies claimed a 6-1 advantage in shots in the 20 minutes of overtime.
• Barinedum Kordah (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) had seven shots for the Auggies, while Sam Connor (SR, Becket, Mass./Williston Northampton School) and Jason Scheeler (SO, Blaine, Minn.) had three shots each.
• Nick Lenertz (JR, Cottage Grove, Minn./Park HS) had one save in goal to pick up the shutout, his first of the season and Augsburg's fifth straight shutout as a team.
