• Augsburg's defensive backfield of Emily Gregg (SR, River Falls, Wis.), Trine Boeystad (FY, Rykkinn, Norway/Nadderud VGS), Ashley Waalen (SR, Amery, Wis.) and Hannah Whitington (SR, Eagle Lake, Minn./Mankato East HS) played a strong contest, keeping Bethel's offense in check for most of the game. Marissa Guillou (JR, Burnsville, Minn./Apple Valley HS) had two saves in goal for the Auggies.
• The goal was just the third given up by Augsburg this season. The Auggies have outscored their opponents by a 30-3 margin this season.

QUOTE FROM AUGSBURG HEAD COACH MIKE NAVARRE
• "Despite the loss there were positives. In particular, I thought our back line played very well. We created some great scoring chances. However, Bethel's keeper made some outstanding saves and our finishing wasn't as sharp as it needed to be. We will learn from this game and move on."
